One of my New Year’s goals is to journal and read in the evenings. On a recent doctor’s visit, I asked about my horrible memory. My husband will recall some cute thing one of the kids did when they were little, for example, and I’ll just stand there with a glazed look on my face, wondering what he’s talking about!
So my doctor actually suggested that I take some down time at the end of each day to journal or read so my brain can reflect on the day and process its events. Every one of my family members agreed that I tend to just always GO! Then I hit the bed at night without any reflection time. I do love to work in the evenings, but God wants us to take time to rest, as well.
So, I created something for myself that, as usual, I want to share with you! 🙂 This journal has simple prompts of things I want to consider each day. There are also daily verses and spiritual quotes to ponder for 31 days, so you can reprint each month.
I hope it’s a blessing to you as I hope it is to me, as well!
